Here's the note Sarah left in regards to The Warehouse:
So here is the current story for everyone:
We have recently caught the eye of ASCAP. If you are unfamiliar with them, they basically handle music licensing and artist's rights.
Without too much detail, the bottom line is it will cost us a ton of money that we do not have in ASCAP fines to continue operating.
So, because of this, the show on FEBRUARY 21 will be the last Warehouse show, pending further negotiations with ASCAP.
These past two years have been PHENOMENAL and we have SO MUCH loved being a part of all your guys' lives and you being a part of ours. Seriously we wouldn't trade this experience for anything, so thanks for making it happen!
We would ask ALL OF YOU to come out to our final show on the 21st. Come celebrate with us what an awesome time we have at the Warehouse.
We also need to sell ALL OF OUR STUFF! Not like, the building. But all of our concessions, tshirts... that kind of stuff. We will also be making special commemorative posters and "thanks ASCAP" buttons... so please come buy all of our stuff! Help us offset some of the money we still have invested in the Warehouse.
FREEDOM CHURCH and THE 9 will still be happening in the Warehouse building. Sundays @ 10am (Freedom Church) and Fridays @ 6:30pm (the 9)
DINNERSHOW TICKETS are available for this last show. $20 and you get to eat dinner with the bands. only 10 available per show. Write us asap if you want one!
Again, thank you to everyone. We will keep you up to date here if more information becomes available.
Love
your friends @ The Warehouse
In other news, like I mentioned, I'll be taking some shots at the Dew Winter Tour at Northstar at Tahoe this weekend - I just hope we get there early enough for me to get settled in and not like...die. Or break my camera. Shit, the thought makes me a little sick. Shaun White, Danny Kass, Torah Bright. Ahhh be still my beating heart.
